There was one last week? I've been trying to get People from mercedesshop to have one, but no one really cares to have one which is leaving me kinda agitated, since most people have already had a G2G and Chicago land hasn't. I was leaving that part up to everyone else to see. I was thinking Early june?
im sure u can get a few peeps from here, and the other benz forums to get a decent size group together. i didnt no about the one last week my buddy from the forum told me about it and there was about 15 benz's and a few other odd cars there. It was pretty cool everyone was very friendly as well.
SO. Last year when whe had the 190rev get togheter we parked right at the corner of the sears entrance off of 53 and woodfield rd. So when coming to woodfield either direction off of 53/290 go to woodfield rd and the first entrance to get in the mall. There is the corner of the parking lot by the street where no one parks. (I should be there by 10, maybe 1030 at the latest). So show up anytime starting at 10. Its supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow, 75 and sunny. So this is going to be fun.

Yes. I know, I saw that schedule of events. And half of those are too far for me. I dont have money to be wasting on fuel in today's fuel prices are sky high with a vehicle that requires premium fuel @ $3.25 AVG price per gallon of premium that ends up to be $50-$60 per fill up. And with the crap fuel milage these cars get (i get avg 10-14 mpg) I cant be going to all those places. So thats why I set up my own schedule for those other guys who cant make it to all those events due to the same issue (old cars have more wear and tear and dont have the same pep and economy they used to). So you can have your fun and afford all that fuel and wear and tear on your car, and I will schedule for my own g2g for my cost saving.
MOJO 6969, I'm glad that you posted again. Our club went to SupercarSaturday May 1 with about 10 cars and were blown away with the quality of cars at the show. We decided that day to make all the Supercar shows this year. My guess is that we will have 10-15 members going on June 5, we'll meet about 7:45 and ride in and park together. I haven't updated the schedule yet, but will soon. We are also planning a tech day that will be on the north shore, and the Lake Forest car show is a great show. We have 105 members in the club and nobody makes all the shows. Also, our largest population is in your area.
You are certainly welcome to join the club even if you can't make all the events. All we need is two things:
I'm totally with you. But from my standpoint I can only make it to the local events to me. Naperville, St. Charles, Belvedere, those are all nice locations but the whole thing is that my event I scheduled for 5-1 was planned before I knew about all those other events. Bill (a.k.a. Prime16 from 190rev.net) met up with me on that day and told me he came from the supercar saturday which I was planning on attending but couldnt make it due to my planned and hosted get together for woodfield. So to attend the supercar event for the 6-5-10, should I apply for prefered parking? I might bring some guests (my roomate's kids (twin 12 yr old boys who are crazy like me for supercars)). Anyways. Let me know where to meet up so we can all roll up together.
Cool! Last month we met at the Wildfire restaurant parking lot at 7:45 and drove in at 8:00. We will probably do the same on June 5.
I have an idea that should be an all win. How about joining us with your friends on June 5 as a MBIC guest, you will receive the same correspondance that goes to all members, the details about where to meet, etc.
I will remove your e-mail address whenever you say so. What do you think?
