If you read my original post re: ACCELERATION PROBLEMS WITH 0'2 ML320 , well now the check engine light went off and it seems to be running "ok". I have another appt with service on Tuesday for a diagnosis. I had a diagnosis done last week at a independent repair shop.

The service person I talked to at Mercedes said this is very common and the computer basically has already read the problem and has stored it.

Have any of you had this happen?

Yes it is a common problem with any car. But when you had it diagnosed by the independent, what did he tell you was the problem and did you get the code number(s)?
