Bought this lovely 97 E320 in December. Runs like a top. Yesterday I had the oil changed, and today I get the Check Engine/Electronics warning. Coincidence or possibilities, please respond anybody.

Totally coincidental to your oil change. Take it to some place like AutoZone and have them read the error code(s), then post that here.

Yes, get the codes read so you know what is wrong there.

Now change your own oil so this does not happen again.

It could be the guy who did the oil change accidently (or intentionally) touched something so a wire is loose or whatever. The oil filter on your car is kind of hard to reach with hoses and wires around it.

Thanks for the info. Autozone came up with "secondary intake fuel injector".
Just as the guy was reading the handheld device and telling me I needed to take it in, a benz driver (E420) pulls up and I asked him if he ever got that warning. He assured me it was something with the fuel cap or fuel system.

He told me that it would probably go off on its on in a couple of days. I told him I tried a little regular gas and added a little STPon my current fillup right after I got the oil change. He laughed and said "that's it". I bought a new oil cap too. Thx agn.

BTW: Please don't put regular gas in it; it was desigend to run on premium & everything is labeled as such.

Likely not your problem, but neither regular gas nor STP belong in that engine.
