Luckily it's not the 2.0 with the carburetor! Cheap power upgrades? Make sure the engine is kept up. Are the fuel injectors are clean, if not, run some injector cleaner in your gas, better yet, replace them. Properly gapped Bosch spark plugs and new wires? Replace the OEM air filter element with a K&N replacement element or consider a cold air intake. That pretty much covers cheap. Oh, I forgot . . . remove the sheepskins and extra burlwood and slap on a couple of "Type R" stickers. According to Honda Civic owners, that's good for another 20-30HP[

Yeah these kids with their civics have the clear tail lights which easily gives them a 50 hp boost. And their loud mufflers push their 110 hp to 210. One kid around here made his mazda protege so much faster with his huge aluminum fin and his crooked NOs sticker. God I hate every last one of those damn cars!
