Are the fuel injectors are clean, if not, run some injector cleaner in your gas, better yet, replace them. Properly gapped Bosch spark plugs and new wires? Replace the OEM air filter element with a K&N replacement element or consider a cold air intake. That pretty much covers cheap. Oh, I forgot . . . remove the sheepskins and extra burlwood and slap on a couple of "Type R" stickers. According to Honda Civic owners, that's good for another 20-30HP[
