Changing Rear End Lube in a 300SE

673 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  jdc1244
I have a 1988 300SE and I know with 149,000 miles on it, it needs to have the rear end lube changed. I see the drain and fill plugs easy enough. My question is this; are there any unusal precautions I should be taking when changing the fluid and what type/grade should I use.

Thanks
Mike
