In the long run, more than what it would cost you to sell the green one and buy a similar pre-owned silver one. [:)]

i had my acura painted 2x and i paid around 2 to 3 thousand bucks for a good quality paint job painted door jambs and trunk opening (it was a 2 door).

for a bigger SUV it might be a little bit more. ask around and see what kind of deals you get. don't go to MAACO or EARL SCHEIB!!! their paint job is not the problem, it's the prep work that gives these companies the bad rep.

hope that helps.

They quoted me $4500 to repaint my truck the same color. This is a good, but not the best body shop. To change colors qould be somewhere around $5-6K if you only want the door jambs and not the whole thing taken apart to paint. Not worth it in my opinion. Just swap trucks .. it will be cheaper.

Besides the extra depreciation you'd have. But as ML drivers, we probably aren’t so concerned with that, now are we? [;)]

a good quality paint job will run you around $10k. factory jobs require removing all the components including the windshields and sometimes even the entire engine. $4-5k sounds about right for a repaint in the same color but i'd expect more for a new color swap just because there are lot's of things to paint.

i'd suggest trading the green ml for a silver one. you might even be able to knock off some miles and get more options[8D]
