After the move from the US to the UK, we had our headlights changed to UK models. Now we moved to the European mainland (Belgium).

I'm told that European headlights are direction changeable (from beaming to the right to the left) I believe there's a handle inside the headlight itself?

Looked all over this forum, but does anyone have any idea how to do that?

Thanks

RE: Change headlight direction (Europe headlights)

Remove the panel behind the bi-xenon bulb, look for the metal lever which is to the side of the bulb and move it down; this will remove the raised portion of the dipped beam leaving you with a straight beam pattern, i.e. --\___ becomes _____. There is plenty of light with the bi-xenon beam so driving with the new dipped beam pattern is no problem and it does not affect the main beam pattern.

Note: you MUST switch off the lights when performing the above procedure, do NOT leave them at the Auto setting as bi-xenons are driven by high voltage!!!

Also, there is not much room, if you have small hands and wrists you may be able to move the lever in situ, otherwise you will have to remove the lights to do it.
