How many springs are there in the centrifugal advance counterweights?

Mine only had one the last time I looked.
Posted here and a smart person said it was correct to only have one.

Spent all week diagnosing an ignition "bounce" on my racecar due to centrifugal advance issue.

If the springs are weak the CWs bounce against the stop they happen to be experiencing at the moment (idle or full).

And suppose after 23 years that spring is not what it used to be.
Then what happens?

Google search: Centrifugal advance bounce.

A timing light will be on my SEC tomorrow morning.
In the past I recall seeing idle timing mark not DEAD NUTS STEADY. But bouncing a little.

Bouncing.

TBD.

FYI.

YMMV.

Same as mine.
I am going to check my idle timing again today.
In the past I remember it wasn't rock solid. This will be confirmed.
