Hi all i have a vtio 638 2003, which has no central locking. Im looking at one of the vito conversion kits on ebay, or a universal kit. Has anyone ever fitted one to a vito without central locking?, Im presuming their are wireways to get into the doors etc. Idealy i only want central locking on the two rear sliding doors. Many thanks Graham

I fitted locking motors to a couple of rocker switches on the dash (rocker switch mountings are available from merc at about a fiver each plus standard switch (must be dc rated switch... most are ac only))

work well to lock and unlock from dash but not radio controlled... but thats what I wanted.

used a motor on both sliding and tailgate.. motors from cpc (online but my local distributer) or maplin.... same motors but at the time cpc were a lot cheaper.

radio operated kits are on ebay but more expensive..... make sure switches are "momentary" not "latching" or its very easy to burn the motors out.

1st van been ok for 8yrs and the last one ok for last 3yrs.
