center vent on 2000 s430 stops blowing air after ~20 minutes of operation. shutting engine off, then restarting returns airflow, but again will shut down. blogs clearly indicate that STAR would be
necessary. But I am hoping there might be another option. additional information from the hidden menus find that vent closure (n5 and n6) can be controlled via the menu, but they eventually shut down. also, overhead console is reporting the correct ambient temperature. some blogs suggest console switches might be defective. but all other vents remain functional, so i am not sure the
switches are a problem. last point; autel ds760 scan yields no codes.
not expecting any nonSTAR solution, but if you don't ask, you might never know.
thanks,
