As per pics on link above, it may be that the side lips at the front bottom part are shorter but not so sure...

The difference in the early and late designs is the ability to remove the side carpeted sections withour removing the whole center console on the later ones. You have to remove the whole console with the earlier ones.

Not yet, but I'm getting closer to it. Trying to figure out a new layout in the console for switches, audio system and new A/C controls. With new Zebrano veneer.
