hi there. looking for a carpet piece to replace the old worn out piece on my mom's 1989 260E. anyone ever looked for, and/or found this item? having no luck. thanks!... frank

I use marine carpet, it's tough, it can be washed in water, and it doesn't fray when you cut it. It's usually available from auto upholstery suppliers and marine dealers, etc. in many colors, not expensive at all.
