I'm in desperate(!) need of a set center caps for my benz.

I have bought some rims from a local dealer, but I don't have any mercedes center caps.

The size is not the regular size 3" (74/75mm) it's 2.5" (64mm).
If I can't find any caps in that size, I would like to get some decals/stickers size 2.1" (54/55mm) so I can replace the existing ones atleast.

Does anyone know where I can get ahold of these sizes for my benz?

I'm sure a few of you have bought non-OEM rims with differents center caps sizes.

Have searched around the net for hours alltogether without finding crap.:crybaby2:

Even ebay doesn't have any :(

So if anyone knows please help me out! :1poke:

I have searched on ebay and everywhere.
Nodbody has center caps in size 2.5" with mercedes logo.

The nearest thing I got were these decals that I could replace on the "cap", but they wouldn't look so good and they are not the ones I want anyway. (looking for black or chrome)
Mercedes Benz Wheel Center Cap Decal Set 2 1/8"

This is the rim:

If you take a closer look, you can see that the center cap is some what smaller than the avarage 3" that is standard on todays OEM mercedes rims.

Hmmm... I haven't measured my center caps off my stock rims, but I'm pretty sure that they're smaller than 3 inches. Smaller than 2.5 inches actually. Do you still have your stock rims? If the cap from your stock rim doesn't fit, than you may have a problem. I know that the center hole on just about every MB wheel is standard. So much so, the ones on my car are actually off of an old 280SL. They're the enameled ones with the white star and blue circle, etc.

The decals, though not ideal, may be your only choice. Unless, you buy a set of stock caps, and modify them so that you can epoxy them to the current caps, or some other solution along those lines.

I knew a guy who had some wacky wheels on his 300CE. He drilled out the center of the caps that came with the rims so that he could snap in and epoxy the MB caps into the aftermarket rims. It actually looked really good with a sort of tiered chrom ring affect.

Best of luck,

Aaron
