center a/c vents don't work during acceleration

i can't seem to figure out on why the center a/c vents completely stop blowing air acceleration. when i lift off the accelerator the air returns. both side vents though are not affected at all. i surmise that it's vacuum related. how do i fix this problem? thanks in advance.
