Thanks Greg...when will Mercedes come online with some other cars that offer bluetooth cell phone hookup...I want the hands free option but I don't need to spend $2500 for the MB option.

RE: Bluetooth Cell Phone hookup

I meant that the Bluetooth system is dealer installed. Per the MBUSA website (cost $1,505):

"2005 Accessories
Hands-Free Communication System (compatible portable phones sold separately)
Plug one of our sleek new accessory Motorola phones into your vehicle and it becomes part of our integrated Hands-Free Communication System. With the phone docked in the armrest cradle, your phone book is automatically downloaded into the car while the phone battery charges, and the phone is connected to the vehicle's integrated antenna system. Calls are clearly delivered through the audio system, which automatically mutes the radio or pauses the CD. You can even control calls via the multifunction steering wheel. Your Mercedes-Benz dealer offers a selection of the latest Motorola mobile phones for most major carriers."

RE: Bluetooth Cell Phone hookup

Actually, in reading this it seems this is a docking system, not Bluetooth--sorry. The dealer did say a BT system was available as a dealer-installed option, though.
