In my E320 2004 the volume changes when I put in a CD. When the radio is on it sounds really loud, and then when I put in a burned CD it sounds super lower. Does anyone know why or how to fix this? Is it maybe because the CD is burned?

Burned CD's are generally lower in sound quality. Try a purchased CD, if it sounds normal, then you'll know. You may want to clean your player with a CD Laser-Lens Cleaner available in most music stores.

CDs can be mastered at different volume levels. Try various CDs - there should not be a significant difference in volume.

If all CDs do this, you might want to have your system looked it.
