CD Changer

My CD changer is skipping very bad. I just put a newly burned disc in and its horrible. All disc sleves (1 to 6) skip randomly. I know that if i put the same disc in my home cd player its fine.

So somethings wrong. What do you guys do to fix something like it? generic cd cleaners?

usually a good all arround clean up works.
I removed and cleanned all unit. Use a kit fro...

I removed and cleanned all unit. Use a kit from radio shack for the lens!
Check if the shock absorbers are working properlly.
works like a charm.

Thanks, but how do i check shock absorbers? are those the springs that hold the cassette down?

About your A/C light: I have a similar problem but it comes and goes as i touch it. I think the wiring harness is bad. My dash lights are also like this. For instance my clock is sometimes lit and sometimes its not ..
