Sorry to piggyback on the thread, but I also have a CD changer for sale...not mercedes though. This 6-disc changer hooks up to any OEM Toyota deck with cd changer controls, which most of their cassette and cd decks had. Would probably work on many other OEM radios wtih changer controls also. Can send pics. Brand new condition, includes everything needed. Asking $50 + shipping.
I assume it is the fiber optic version and does it include the mounting bracket?
yes, and yes it does, i posted on ebay and it already met my reserved price, here's the link for anyone interested

Damn, $200 for the stock CD changer. Makes me ready to pull mine out and sell it. Then use the proceeds towards an improved sound system.
I sold mine on ebay a while back because no one on this board is going to pay $200 for a sterio. we are all smarter than that.
By the way, how did the authentic M/B reset code to get rid of the flashing wrench on your odometer work out for you?

Do the cables to the CD changer just pull straight out of the back or is there some trick to it? When I was searching for the tool kit I tried to disconnect the CD changer and I could not get the power cable connector to pull out of the changer. The fiber optic cable pulled out easily.
haha, i felt really stupid afterwards when i found this forum, my car did not come with an owner's manual
