I have an Cartronics iTronic with bluetooth and iPod support purchased new in April 2012. The unit also has an auxiliary input for any device with audio outputs. This unit works in Mercedes Benz with Audio 50 head units. Whether or not it works with other Mercedes head units, I am not sure. This unit integrates with the Audio 50 and COMMAND as if it were factory installed. Contact names will show up on the Audio 50 screen, as well as in the heads up display (between speedometer and tachometer 2003-2007 Mercedes). All steering wheel functions work perfectly. This unit was designed to replace the six-disc changer installed in many 2003-2007 Mercedes cars. Five playlists on your iPod or iPhone will replace discs 1-5, and disc six will act as the auxiliary input/ bluetooth streaming function. Each playlist may contain up to 99 tracks. If you know anything about these units, Cartronics went out of business and these units are hard to come by these days. The unit supports factory-like iPod integration very similar to DICE units. I can guarantee that this unit worked with my 2003 E-3200 with Audio 50. It will work with any Audio 50 that supports CD changer control. The unit includes a Parrot bluetooth Microphone, and the sound quality is excellent. Also included is the iPod cable, AUX cable, fiber optic cables, and power cable. MBWorld.org and other Mercedes Forums explain these units in detail. Purchased for $900 direct from Cartronics. $500 or best offer takes it all. Free ground shipping in the USA.

Let me know if you are interested.

Hi! Have you had any success in selling the Cartronics Unit? I also have the same unit and it was a wonderful addition to my 2005 E320. I used mine for Bluetooth hands-free telephone calls and iPod integration. It works great and was fully worth the $1000 or so I paid to have it installed here in Atlanta by the now deceased owner of Cartronics. I traded this car toward a new MB today and took the unit out as it added no value to the trade. Long story short, I am looking to sell my unit to someone who wants to easily upgrade their Mercedes to hands-free Bluetooth and iPod integration. If you sold yours, do you have any other folks that were interested in your unit?
