I am interested in purchasing a black carbon fibre handbrake cover for my SLK55 but I can't find the part number. I went to the local dealer in Toronto and they don't have the part number. It may be because the 030 option isn't offered here in Canada. Does anyone know the part number?
The only other option to track down part number is to use a VIN of a car with the part installed from the factory.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information.......I'm contacting Performance Products to see if they will sell the handbrake cover rather than the entire kit.
As for the Brabus version, my car is black on black and I'm thinking that the black ones would look better that the silvery ones......do you know if Brabus has the black version?

Yes, Brabus sells both. The type I got is referred to as "light carbon fiber." Tell them you want the "dark" variety. Beware, people will try to gauge you for carbon fiber these days - some nonsense about a shortage. Try to get the best price.

Good luck.

Here is what the BRABUS "dark" carbon fiber looks like. Very, very nice - but very pricey.

Just an update......I sent performance products an e-mail inquiry last Sunday....and immediately received this response.
"Thank you for contacting performanceproducts4benz.com. One of our customer service specialists will be contacting you at the email address you provided. We attempt to reply within 1 business day. "
Well it's now Friday and nothing........so I wait..........

Followed your advice and called Brabus......they don't sell the handbrake cover by itself. I was quoted $1900.00 for the complete kit of carbon fibre accessories......seems to me it's the same as the one that Performance Products sells for ~$700.00.........

Asked Brabus if they are MP Design, if they are then they are exactly the as the ones that performance products sells. Brabus is known for rediculous markups.

carbon fiber handbrake

I am doing research and it appears that the entire handbrake assembly is one unit, which looks to be a lot of work for such a small part to be replaced, all the searching comes up empty handed in trying to find a simple top piece in carbon fiber, perhaps ill move on to another part less complicated.
