Brake wear sign came up a couple of days ago and I took it to a mechanic who drove the car and told me that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. They were done a month ago. Brought it home and wanted to go out after a while but the car does not turn over . Whats wrong with it ? Frustrated :frown

Sorry for late reply. If the wear indicator warning comes up, and you had replaced the brakes recently, was a new wear sensor replaced? It costs about $10-15 from Mercedes and slides into only one of the front pads. It should always be replaced when doing a brake job. If it was, then the contacts may have broken or come loose. This should not prevent your car from starting. You may have another issue, perhaps starter or starter relay.
