Over the years has anyone been able to identify if the cars from any particular Mercedes plant are better or worse than other production plants?
ie...Sindelfingen vs, Bremen vs. Rastatt vs. Graz vs. Karmann ?

The guy I bought mine from spoke very fondly of Stuttgart. (Native Austrian/benz enthusiast) I would imagine that's the best plant since it's the main one I believe, if there is any distinguishable difference.

You can´t compare the plants, because they all built different cars ever since. This is an overview of the actual assembly plants for cars.

Thanks for the replies/education - I know that in America plants are retooled for different models on occasion. Did not know if that occurred with Mercedes as well.
