any trick to getting the speedo cable back on to the speedo? Its tough enough with hardly any slack avail on the cable, not to mention the tight area behind the cluster.

Ive been sitting on the seat, left hand reaching up in there from below the dash and to the left of the column, and threading the cable in there yet it doesnt catch. I realize the cluster speedo nipple is angled down and to the right...I think thats what makes it such a PITA.

Any tricks besides luck and patience would be very much appreciated!

Thanks again!

Since you've discovered my trick of coming in from undeneath, I can only say maybe from the right side of the cluster over the top. Those two ways are the only ways I've been able to do it.
