Windshield replacement

After reading thru the thread "New Windshield now in place I can see"
I am convinced that windshield replacement will be a worthwhile investment and mod for our cars.

I browsed the Safelite Autoglass website (Windshield Repair and Auto Glass Replacement - Safelite AutoGlass) and have scheduled a service Saturday afternoon for replacement of front windshield for my 420SEL ; the safelite guys will be driving to my apartment and do the replacement at no extra cost.

The cost will be $ 172.95 + $9 Tax.

It is going to be PPG brand.

Can't wait to experience the excitement of seeing thru "new, clear windshield" in the car......

Will post details after the getting the replacement.
