Is this the spring for the 722.6 transmission?

I purchased the cl500 and the PO "forgot" to mention that it has issues with the tranny. As i was coming back from work it stuck in the second gear.

The code is p0715. And people assiciate it with the conductor plate in the tranny.
I found this spring in the trunk. Can anyone identify it?

Is your cup holder broken? Looks to me like it might be the spring that is under the chrome button that pops up the cup holder.

The springs that are prone to breaking on the transmission are shorter and much stronger.

Awesome. That's what i needed.
I ordered the transmission springs today. I just think i've seen too many springs and they all lok the same
