Will the dealer change these for you for free? Is it just one pad that you adjust the height too? If you have to buy them, how much does the dealer charge? What exactly are they? I'm in the US..based on the US standard ride height, how much lower can i get the car by just switching to the lowest pads? How is ride quality affected? Sorry for all the questions..thanks in advanced.

Re: Can somebody explain these

Will the dealer change these for you for free?
- No. They will charge the same amount as if they changed your springs.

Is it just one pad that you adjust the height too?
- There are different pad size distinguished by the number of dots or pts. The lowest being the 1 pt. pad

If you have to buy them, how much does the dealer charge?
- They cost about $5 each.

What exactly are they?
- They are shims that go on top of the spring. Something like a stabilizer which also specifies some ride height. This does not dramtically lower your car. Only mm.

I'm in the US..based on the US standard ride height, how much lower can i get the car by just switching to the lowest pads?
- Not much a few mm.

How is ride quality affected?
- Shouldn't be affected since it's just a shim and the difference between each pad is minimal.

Sorry for all the questions..thanks in advanced.
