Checked glow plugs and 4 of 5 are good on 79 300D.
removed cascade wire hook up and replaced them with Diesel Giant string wires.
1. relay box clicks on when on position II
relay box click off after 30 seconds
no glow plug light!
2. checked fuse when relay clicks on and am not getting DC power to either side of fuse.

3.Can I run a hot wire from the battery + to the fuse or to the other side of the fuse box to see if the car will turn over?

4. PO f-cked up the wiring and I'm trying to figure how to get it running.

Did you check the right fuse? It should be the one on the glowtime relay itself.
But if you have the old style glowplugs (big ones 20,8mm) it won't work.
No glow light; is the bulb alright? change it with another, to make sure.
There's already a hot wire to the glow time relay, it's that big red(or black) wire.

we used to hotwire GP systems on old CUCV trucks. of course you can hotwire them. however, if you forget to turn off the toggle after starting, you will burn them up in no time.
