Can an ASR priming pump be tested in situ?
Hi all, I am still tracking down my ASR light issue. Eliminated, sensors, ASR computer, Battery voltage, replaced engine harness etc.. I'm now looking at the ASR priming pump. See attached pic.
I see that it gets a very brief hit of power when the ignition is first turned on. I have held the little sucker but cant feel the motor spin at all. I read elsewhere that people have replaced them because the motor has seized. This is what I am trying to test. Its pretty much the last thing for me to be looking at other than the ABS unit.
