Wow! really like the Cruiser box.
We where wanting to build a pop top similar to that, but didn't even think about the bonus window protection. Looks very sharp, any more info on it?

It was drawn out in the sand then transferred to a sketch on paper then built. We'd be more than happy to share more information but we figure your more than capable to come up with one of a kind things like most Mog owners do plus the CAD plans probably don't fit in with your cup of tea! LOL! It is nicely done! Amazing what imagination and a good fabrication person can come up with. Good work!

Why did you have to bring the CAD into it? What did drafting & design software ever do to you?

Truk, I totaly understand starting over, I was just mentioning that the layout of the box has some good points and is not in itself a "bad design", just over built and awkwardly fited out door bracket wise.

Maybe it's just me but but too the casual observer do you not use CAD?

I am a drafter and designer....Most ideas usually start out in my 10d mind then go deduced tooo 2d/3d to a piece of paper. Then they come to reality. It's amazing what the human can accomplish with persistance, patience and a eye for detail and uniquness.

As a working draftsman the most powerful tool I have is not the small fortune in software or the gaggle of machines but my brain. As you pointed out, either you can picture it and through what ever means necessary wrench that image from your head into the real world or you find someone who can.

Many people are very skilled fabicators, many people are skilled draftsmen, some highly skilled fabricators have trouble thinking beyond the drawing, some draftsmen couldn't put together lincoln logs and tinker toys.

You know this, I know this, may guys here know this. I was just teasing you about you teasing Jason about the development cycle. And on that note I need to find my way back to a rousing weekend of using AutoCad, Revit, Inventor and Carlson and all of them together. This bridge ain't gonna built itself.

That unit is pretty functional. I like it. Wonder if it has a forced air furnace? All the appliances look well planned to fit right. Basically a 1 person bed up front or a queen size?
