Driving My c240 4matic on my slightly uphill driveway feels like the wheels are stuck and hard to move the car because when I step on the gas to move it forward, the car moves about a step and stop like if I had pushed on the brake. so after removing the front wheels to check the calipers, I noticed the edge of the brake pads which is closer to the center of the disk is in contact with the disk, and getting away from the center, the gap gets bigger to reach maybe 2 to 3mm. How do I know whether the disk, pads or caliper are bad :|

You should be able to identify the uneven wear in the Pads fairly easily. I'm more inclined to think that the Disc is warped as the Calipers apply even pressure to the pads and they, in turn, should wear evenly. There shouldn't be any gap like you describe. Then again, a warped disc will vibrate back through the Steering. I guess that the piston in the Caliper could have seized.

You have a bit of a strange one there.

The C240 uses a floating caliper system, so the pads should self-center around the rotor. I suspect you have either an improperly installed pad or caliper, or possible a stuck piston in the caliper. It's easy enough to pull them off and check.

I have removed the caliper and the brake pads and tried to spin the disk using both hands. It was a little hard to spin. Since the calipers are not the culprit, what could be the problem? Not to forget that the car is 4matic. Yes, the car was on neutral and the hand brake is released

Maybe a bad wheel bearing, axle or differential?

I removed the calipers and brake pads on all 4 wheels and put my c240 4matic in neutral and handbrake released and I'm still having hard time turning the disks. It turns using both hands.
The car barley moves forward or backward when transmission is engaged. It feels like something is holding the wheels. I Checked the hand brake from under the rear seat and seemed to be working fine and not stuck or rusted.*
Since all the suspected culprits such as the calipers brake pads disks and hand brake ae not the problem, what else could I check?

Think you might have big problems. I agree with Rodney it seems more likely in the drive train, than the Brakes.
