I have a 1991 560SEL that has a scratch on the flexible plastic air dam below the bumper. I took it by Caliber Collision and Sterling Collision in Tustin today and they both said they don't work on older cars.
I am looking for a place who can do a good paint match.
I recommend Brooks Orange Body and Paint. They perfectly color matched the plastic front bumper including the air dam on my '95 S500. My car is white so it's easier to color match than metallic paint but I'd give them a call.

I have had them do motor mounts on my W210 Wagon along with some other small stuff. Very reasonable and seemed honest and enthusiastic about MBs. (I even remember chatting with him about my dream car: a W140 !
Thanks for the suggestion. Transmeister took care of a PLIL based leak and tranny service, including draining the torque converter, for me today. A fair price and smooth experience from someone who specializes in German transmissions.
Hey, those in Anaheim/Huntington Beach/Buena Park PM me I am looking for a shop to cure paint cancer for my S500, as well as replacing shocks. Was thinking about doing it myself, unfortunately I don't have garage/shop/place to do it. I also have an RV that I'm working on, anyone has or knows where I could rent a space or a small one lift shop?
I can recommend Rudi's Autohaus Stuttgart in San Diego, it was a pretty good shop and they caught a misfire that many people missed.
I think they moved downtown and merged with someone else, but they should still be a good shop.
I recently purchased a 72 280 sel 4.5
And I’m interested in putting in an air bag suspension. I’m in California in the central coast. Can any one suggest a vendor or a shop that can do the installation? Thanks in advance.
These guys aren't MB specific but they're by far the best shop I've ever worked with so wanted to put it up here. Movement Motorsports off of Larimer in Denver has really been taking care of me on my Jeep. I'm planning on bringing the 126 to them if needed.
They like to work with car guys. So...
just had the greatest experience I could have. I had been having AC problems and couldnt find anyone in the area that really knew what they were doing. Well after calling around for about half a day I finally found someone who know mercedes like the back of his hands. He used to be a mercedes...
