That would be BAD ASS if you managed to get a set of C63 wheels.

Do post some pics up if you do!! :D

they probably cost a fortune... they should fit though, unless they are wider than 10 inches. youll probably have to put different tires on them to make them fit in your wheel well, and i would check the offsets, to make sure they work with your car or else you could end up with wheels sticking out of your wheel well.

I think we're talking replicas here, cuz the AMGs are probably priced close to a used w202.
If my search was correct the originals are 8.5in front, t 9.5in rear, which would be okay but I think the offsets are 45 a 48, which is a big no-no, but replicas are sold in ET35.
Ask for the offsets first.

Would the 18" c63 rims fit onto a 1995 c280 without problems with the wheel well when turning.

Also does the suspension need to be altered?

Thank Youuuuuu
I'm picking up a 96 (w202) c280 this week

Photo with current rims

and found a good deal on some 17" AMG from a C32 w203 (not sure what year) that I would like to mount on it

wondering about the fit issue also
how far off are the offsets from stock

Isn't there a URL somewhere that provides make and model rims sizes and offsets, stock and AMG rims???

tires rear 245/45

tires front 225/45

thank you for the replies

questions:

1. would they mount well (with the stock suspension) and with the tires currently mounted on them (225/45 front, 245/45 rear)?

2. what (modest) lowering kits (springs) are available that I can still use my stock shocks/struts (if possible)?

3. any idea what are the stock offsets, and these type IV AMGs are? (I'm assuming the rear rims are different also)
thank you :D

1. it will be very high but i think i should work. on my 215/35 its about 1" clearance on all sides.

2. there are some in the webshops in norway. just search around:thumbsup:
