There is a rebuilt motor assembly (includign EFI box) for a C36 for sale nearby; how hard would it be to transplant it into a '97 S320? It looks like exactly the same shape engine block, etc. (Does anyone know if Mercedes used, e.g., different cam profiles for different weight vehicles -- such that the engine for a 3400-pound C36 would have an appropriate torque curve for a 4500-pound car?) Any other difficulties to be foreseen?
