Is anyone aware of the problem of the fuel gauge indicator always being at level 0 or at empty. It was indicating fine but suddenly it went to 0 and remains there all the time. When the key is at position 2 before start the fuel gauge's yellow indicator light(refill tank) turns on like always, which I think that indicator works. But when the engine starts the needle doesnt go up.
I just realized that my car requires fuel type 91 unleaded, but i had been filling 89. Will this cause a problem? If not what could be the problem and its resolution?

Thanks all.

I don't think fuel type has anything to do with fuel gauge. You problem is probably fuel level sending unit in tank.
