C300 is plenty quick and a better buy. MB expects a majority of C-class sales in the US to be the 3.0L version.

Both cars are fine choices.

Is the C300 available without 4MATIC (I kinda prefer it as an ordinary rear wheel drive and not a four wheel drive)?

The 4matic has nothing to do with the transmission. The 300, 350 and 6.3 all come with the same 7 speed transmission.

im trying to source a used transmission for a 2012 c350 4matic. how can i verify if a transmission for a c300 will be interchangeable? would you know?

Not really noticeable in the cabin with windows and sunroof closed. But outside you can hear a pretty healthy exhaust note from functional dual exhausts.

A creamy murmur rather than a throaty murmur...am I correct?
