Dealer offered $1k off sticker if I build to order. Is it reasonable to counteroffer at invoice, i.e. $2-3k off sticker? He still has 3% MSRP dealer holdback "invisible profit" to play with. Thanks!
It all depends on your market. They were giving me $1000 off a coupe or a sedan. I choose the Sport Sedan. The dealer had a lot on the ground. But after going back for a service adjustment several a number of these had been sold.
