I'm looking to go from a 2001 C240 to a 1997 E320. Both cars have 16x7 wheels but the tires on the C are 205/55R16 and the E class are 215/55R16. I have a set of Michelin Pilot Alpins with about 7,000 miles on them. Would the size difference cause a lot of problems? I'd hate to try and flog the tires as I'm in a fairly low population area and don't see a lot of C's around. Best if I could use them on the new (old) car.
