What year was your car built?

It may be the notorious wiring harness problem common to C280's (not sure if that was also a problem on C230K's, but I don't see why not)

It may also be that your distributor or distributor cap is worn out, or that your coils need replacement, or that there is water in the area around your spark plugs.

No distributor on these engine ,all controlled by engine ECU and sensors. Agree it could be a faulty ignition wiring harness or coil.

no distributor, has 2 coils.
I would ck for carbon tracking on the plugs, i know they are new, but if the ones you took out had carbon tracks on the porcelyn, then it needs new plugs AND suppressors(the part of the plug wires that contacts the plug itself). That car has 4 suppressors, one on each coil you take off, and one on each wire.
if this is not the problem, i would ck for an oil contaminated mass air sensor.
