yep.. if youre into 2 door coupes... i have an 03 orion blue, tints.. the car is good, i personally dont think its fast enough for me, but the inside is comfortable if youre not too tall - i love my car and look forward to upgrading in the mercedes world soon - take it for a test drive, contemplate the 'coupeness' of it - enjoy :) its fun to play with for sure.
great! thanks for the write up, i appreciate it. how has it been reliability wise? no big issues?
the car is cool. if ur by urself driving it, i mean with not a lot of passengers... other than that ..its good!

although ill be needing a 4 door soon. this is my first coupe so im planning to go back on the sedans more comfortable for everyone
good good, i just wanted to make sure i wasnt getting into a horror story.
Wife recently got a new silver C320 coupe, she test drove a regular 230 and I think the compressor model but liked the bigger engine 320 version the best.
At first I thought the coupe looked chopped off but after you look at them up close they do grow on you. Where the C320 shines is crisp handling with smooth performance, it is a hoot to drive!
I have an auto '02 C230 Kompressor. I've always been extremely happy with it. However, I've never driven the standard one to compare performance. I find that the huge panoramic sunroof really changes the mood of things, 'specially if you've always driven a car with no sunroof at all. I was told the price was upped from the '02 Model ($33,950 CND Base to $34,500 CND base now). Also, the engine was shrunk from a 2.3L (hence the 230) to a 1.8L. I've personally never driven the 1.8L ('03 and up) models but I hear they're better (smoother). The only thing is it doesnt sound as cool. [8D]

Just a warning:
(Mini problems)
If you have passengers (specially big ones), the back does feel much roomier than other hatchbacks, BUT there's a plate at the corner of the front seat (where it folds in the corner) that has a tendency to break off. The chair doesn't slide forward enough that people will miss rubbing that part when they enter the back. I've had someone kick and break off that plastic piece twice in my car. I'm not sure if there were any changes at all (i doubt it) in the later C Coupe models, but that's something you might wanna check out.

Other than that, I'd give it a pretty good eval on the driving side. (I've blown past quite a few people on the roads, to my surprise even. Maybe it's just that i'm lucky not having to shift, and that i happen to come across newby shifters (much like myself) [:)] )

All it comes down to is that you gotta test it for yourself. To me the power is great, the ride is smooth and I like that it's a small car.

thanks for the help guys. sounds like mechanically it is solid.

i can live with a little broken plastic piece... i think.[:p]
Yep.. I agree with the above mentioned things.. that panoramic sunroof really makes the car.. dont plan on puttin a lot of people in there either. no major problems, just love the car and keep it clean and in good shape and youll be happy. its fun to drive and swoop around in. i opted for the 4 cylinder for orion blue as opposed to the 6 cylinder in silver, apparently they couldnt get me the 6 in the blue? the only thing that disappoints me about my coupe kompressor is the stereo system, all the speakers are in the doors... consider upgrading somehow with some mods - let us know your decision, post some pics, etc. thanks [8D]
I GOT ONE FOR SALE

I'd rather go with the sedan. The coupe looks "kind-of-funny" in my opinion. It looks like a dog that has just been kicked it the butt. Something is missing.
Hey hoops until you drive a coupe with the big motor you will not get what this car is about, it is way more fun to drive then a 4 door small motor car and after you drive the V-6 coupe it gets a whole lot better looking as well. The old saying looks is more then skin deep is really fitting for the V-6 coupe.

Hehe, i woulda agreed with you at first but the look eventually grew on me. However, one thing that was always wicked was the front was more agressive lookin' than any C-class Sedan.

Also, what's different about the looks that the C320 SC has that C230 Kompressor SC doesn't have? People say something about the front grill, but everyday I've been parking beside a C320 SC that is identical colour to mine and i don't see a difference. (Canada/U.S. have different packages i hear?)
Other than the badge on the back, there is no difference in appearance between the C230k and C320 coupes.

I think, starting MY 2005, the coupe grill is drilled, kind like the one in the ML350. Sedans do not have the drilled grill.
