Hi, I posted a similar topic in the ML forum. Dad has a 89 300TE that needs to be replaced. We are considering a ML or a C200 wagon, simply because in Australia, the only C-Class wagon we get is the 4-cyl kompressor. I havent seen anyone here who has one, so whoever does, please write something about it because id really like to know

Regards

What is your criteria? Are you going to use it for towing, hauling items?

Australia only has the C200 wagon? No C240, C320? I'd imagine that you should also be able to get the C270CDI wagon.

How important is 4WD to you? I think it will come down to what sort of "stuff" you will be lugging around, how much of a fun-to-drive factor you're looking for, and fuel consumption.

I've had a lot of seat time with various C320 wagons and they are definitely a lot of fun to drive (more so than my ML), but yet with some utility to boot. Admittedly, I wouldn't mind having a C320 4matic wagon!
