2004 C200 Kompressor /EU,

Hello everyone ,
I had to change the battery last week and my clock went 3 hours ahead. After reading the manual and quite a few forum posts I could't find a way to set the clock. I don't have NAV or original audio ( that seems to be the problem) and the only option under 'TIME/DATE' menu is to change the time from 12h to 24h period. Any ideas ?

Cheers !

If you press the DOWN ARROW from the 12/24hr setting, you should get the minutes setting, then down arrow again to get the hours.

As I said the only sub-menu that I have available in the Date/Time is 24/12h. If I press the down/up arrow it gets me out of date/time menu into Settings.

Any other ideas ?

That's really odd. It shouldn't have anything to do with not having the OEM radio - the kid's C240 has a Pioneer AVIC in it and it works just fine. You might try pulling the instrument cluster fuse for a few minutes to see if it resets anything (#42, in the cabin fuse block)

I'll try that but It seems like a long shot to reset it and to expect to show an option that was't there in the first place.
Thanks : )

Low voltage can cause all sorts of odd electrical gremlins. It's worth a shot.

Hi Mate, did you manage to set your clock in the end?
I have the exact same problem when I try to set the clock the instrument cluster seems to bypass the options to set hours and minutes and goes straight to 12 or 24 hrs?

any advice on how to sort this one out would be great.

Cheers

Unfortunately I did't. I don't think its possible without original NAV or Audio.
I just got used to calculate the time :p
