Hey folks,

Althought I'm not having any issues with the car, using Carsoft, I've got this error:
C1025 CAN - Communication
-> Verify the CAN - communication
- Complete CAN - communication
- The traction control unit
- CAN - Signal: Break light switch
- CAN - Signal: Wheel RPM

Searching around the forum it appears that most people have fixed this by changing the break light switch, but I've tried that and still no joy :- (

Has anyone else fixed this through something else?

The only other codes I'm getting are all from the PSE:
B1436 - Central Locking malfunction via auxillaries or CL leaking
B1713 - Alarm triggered via right front door (S17/4)
B1277 - No ATA interior motion sensor
B15F2
B1726 - Voltage supply interrupted in armed state
B1709 - Alarm signal horn not fitted or incorrectly coded

These relate to old faults but I can't seem to clear them - even after disconnecting the battery for > 30 mins. Anyone experienced similar?

Going back to the C1025 issue, I found this interesting article on Mercedes CAN:
How Mercedes' CAN Works

Any suggestions? My thanks in advance!

Heya,

I brought it to my mechanic at the next service and mentioned it to him - he didn't seem particularly concerned by it! He reset the code, drove it around it didn't come back. Until I had it a week and it came back...

So no solution as of yet... the article I linked to in my post "How Mercedes' CAN Works" was interesting though!

I will update this thread if I find anything - and will be greateful for anything you find!

Old thread - but my scan is producing similar results....wondering if there is some more experience out ther from the last 4 years....
I'm getting
B1436, B1436, B1436, B1726, B1726, B1726, B1726, B1726, (yes 5 of them) and a B1709
I'm wondering if the fact that I replaced the 170...448 with a 848....is the culprit - as the 848 didnt have one of the 448's connectors - that is it was a connector short. Didnt think much of it at the time.
