Hi all. I have a 1970 250 and I have no lights on the instrument panel. I think it's my rheostat. Could someone tell me how to bypass it so that the lights are simply on when I turn on the headlights? Thanks!

There are two contacts on the back of the rheostat. Just jumpera wire between them. Once you have it off, it ought to be pretty obvious and easy. You can also just buy a new one and install it. They aren't that terribly expensive, but in my case I always have it on as bright as possible, so there was no need for the adjustable rheostat.
