Ok, I hate the buzzer when the key is in (or the lights are on) and the door is opened. I am not THAT iterested in disabling it, BUT, does anyone know of a way to update it? Maybe a nice modern sound?

Thanks in advance.

Phil

The buzzer is built into the seat belt relay on older versions, a small silver box located in the driver's footwell behind the plastic wall panel. Some owners have reported that in newer models it's mounted behind the speedo, but I haven't confirmed that.

As for changing the sound, I suppose if you could find the proper contacts, you could wire in a different chime.

Has anyone here actually disabled it? I wouldnt mind doin it cos the noise shits me [:I]
It would be easy to disable it, but switching to something more modern is probably harder. I think a few people on 190revolution have done it. Ill attempt it one of these days.
