Where are you guys buying your transmission kit to change your fluid? Can I get the tranny fluid from Autozone or a local store? Sorry, searched for it but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Ok thx but when I went there it looks like I can only get the Trans Pan...
Maybe you need to call them for the fluid?
Also check local warehouse with European parts. More and more of them do also over the counter sales. I got good deal on radiator this way.
duval is another internet dealer but their online catalog is sketchy as well.
I did my tranny service at 197k, Looks like good mileage to do it, although I think PO did some fluid replacement

Cochise50 -- 210,000 miles! Way to go. Car looks very nice too.
Thx! It surprises everyone, even my friend thats an engineer at Consumer Reports, on how nice it is. The tranny was replaced by the dealer at 115K or so but a flush is needed for sure. I think the catys are shot too...I get a lot of clanking noise from that area.
