I am looking at a 2004 wagon with 108k for $12000 in immaculate condition.
How are those cars behaving at high miles?

I have a 2004 E320 4Matic wagon and it has been bullet proof. I have a bit over 73,000 miles and all is well. As you already have a wagon you know the benefits. With over 100 thousand miles the price seems fine. I would still have a pre purchase inspections (expecially the rear self leveling).

Is the rear self leveling a possible problem? My 94 E320 never had any problem with it.
I sold it at around 300k and except head gasket and other little thinks specifics to w124 was all perfect.

What are the possible bad spots I should look for.?

No, I have not heard of any problems with the rear self-leveling but anything with that much rubber that works everytime you drive is suspect. I have found my car pretty much bullet-proof and love it. I will say that I am saving up to try for a 212 wagon one of these days.
