Buying a W140 diesel

Hello guys I am going to buy a W140, but I need some help. I dont want gasoline models because I want to use it daily, so I need really good fuel consuption. So I found an S300td OM606 in my town. Can you tell me what should I look at when I go to buy it, what is critical on that engine, interior and so on
