Buying a 1975 Mercedes 280 (W114)

Yes... I'm going to buy a baby blue one for $500. It needs a good repaint, but the engine runs beautifully. Looks like it will join my BMW 320i. So...if You folks see alot of dumb questions from an absolute beginner - I'm still learning.
