Hi! I'm new here and I have a question.

I have a 2008 ML350 and I'm interested in installing bullbars. Is it an easy installation or does it have to be installed professionally?

Thanks for your help!

Best to avoid these in a airbag-equipped vehicle.

Are you concerned that it may hinder bag deployment in the event of an impact?

I may be wrong but doesn't newer model vehicles use accelerometer to trigger deployment of the bags? I doubt that dealerships and/or for this matter MB would offer them as accessory if it would in any way or form affect deployment of airbags.

Just my .02

You are correct in the case of using a MB/OEM bullbar. My concern only applies to aftermarket bullbar-type accessories.
