Can anyone tell me what this linkage is? The rod end has broken (right under the red auto trans dipstick) and I would like to replace it. It does not have a part number on it, and I can't find it in any parts diagrams.

Vehicle is a newly inherited 1992 M-B 300D 2.5 Turbo (OM603)

I still can't find a part number for either the ball socket of the linkage itself... does anyone have access to the M-B parts catalog that could help me nail down a part number?

You should verify with your local MB dealer, but I think the p/n# you are looking for is A0010705775
